About Our China Legal Due Diligence Team
Most platforms provide legal services,
We deliver solutions you can act on.
Who We Are
We are a China-based legal services team working with overseas clients.
Our team comprises Chinese lawyers and legal professionals. We assist overseas businesses, investors and their advisers with Chinese company verification, China-related contract review and drafting, and legal due diligence.
We consider not only the legal questions, but also the commercial decision the client needs to make. By bringing together Chinese registration records, legal documents and the transaction context, we help clients understand the counterparty, the principal risks and the available next steps.
Why a China-Based Team
The most important issues in a China-related transaction often sit in the details of names, documents, accounts and performance arrangements.
A company’s English name may not be its registered name. The contracting party, invoicing entity and bank-account holder may not be the same company. A commonly used English contract may not adequately address delivery, acceptance, intellectual property or enforcement in a China-related transaction.
A China-based team can verify key information through the lens of Chinese law and commercial practice, identify connections and inconsistencies across the materials, and assess what they mean for signing, payment or investment.
What We Do
Our work addresses three recurring questions in cross-border business with China.
Chinese Company Verification and Credit Check
Confirm the counterparty’s identity, registration status and other available key information, and identify initial warning signs.
China Contract Review and Drafting
Assess the entity, payment, delivery, acceptance, intellectual property, liability and dispute arrangements against the real transaction.
Legal Due Diligence on Chinese Companies
Define the review around the client’s decision and explain how the principal findings may affect the transaction.
How We Work
Every engagement begins with the decision the client needs to make—not with a fixed checklist.
We first understand the transaction, the available materials and the questions that matter most, then define the appropriate scope. We review available Chinese records, contracts and supporting documents, cross-checking material information.
Our deliverables explain not only what we found, but also what the findings mean, which arrangements may need to change, and what should still be verified before a decision is made.
Start with the Decision You Need to Make
Tell us which Chinese company you are assessing, what transaction you are considering, and what decision you need to make now.
We will first identify the suitable service route and scope, then explain the materials required, the expected deliverables and the next step.
